Inktober is a daily drawing challenge for the month of October, created by illustrator Jake Parker. It's intended to cultivate positive habits, improve drawing skills and foster creativity.
The change in season brings optimism and a surge of motivation. It's been a welcome boost of inspiration for writing my novel. I've made some progress with character development, strengthening the plot, and restructuring the storyline.
Nobody promised you it was going to be quick or easy or straightforward or even fun. You’re learning that it’s slow and challenging and curly and tedious. But you must push through.
How cool is this book-themed puzzle! The books covers pictured are parodies of well-known literary titles, in bold colours with beautiful gold foil highlights.
I’ve just finished editing chapter one of my novel, with much guidance from my incredible writing mentor. The story remained the same, but I made a lot of improvements. Here are the changes I made.
